Rajamma@Yahoo : Review

The relation between siblings are always nice but when it comes to the big screen as Rajamma@Yahoo, sorry to say that it was not nice. Yes Rajamma @ Yahoo is such a story about 2 brothers who are very lazy and enjoys their life to the fulliest.

The movie is directed by debutant Reghu Rama Varma who had earlier worked as Assistant Director of Fahad Fasil starrer Malayalam movie Mariyam Mukke. To be frank the script by M.Sindhuraj were too lagging and the Direction too was not up to the mark, Cinematographer were good and the edits were ok. Songs and BGM by Bijibal were the best out the movie.

On to the casting Kunjakko and Asif Ali were nice. Their combination scenes were really nice. Female lead Anushree were good but Nikki Galrani were just ok. Suraj, Renji Panikar, KPAC Lalitha, Noby, Shajon and Anwer Shareef supported well.

It revolves around two brothers – Michel Rajamma known as Rajamma and Vishnu Yohannan known as Yahoo, played respectively by Kunchacko Boban and Asif Ali. Rajamma and Yohannan were college mates at Thalassery Brennen College and their marriage was a love marriage. Yohannan owned a halwa shop in Kozhikode but later it turned out to be debt ridden business. Now Yohannan and Rajamma are no more and their children Michael Rajamma and Vishnu Yohannan are staying at their inherited property. Michael Rajamma aka Rajamma and Vishnu Yohannan aka Yahoo are not interested in doing any jobs and they earn by renting out their house to youngsters. During nights they used to share drinks with the inmates and enjoy their life to the fullest. Once a family arrives to stay with them and the resulting events are plotted in Rajamma at Yahoo.

  • Kunjakko – Asif ali combo
  • Cinematography
  • Noby, Hareesh (Jalian Kanaran), Shajon, Ranji Paikker

  • Script
  • Direction

Bottom Line : Watch it if you want to some…

Verdict : Below Average

Rating : 1.75/5
