‘Kalyanikoru Premalekanam’ is a Malayalam Romantic short film directed by Vaisakh V, produced by Viswamithra Vijayan and presented by Hipsters Media Production.
Vaisakh’s debutant flick ‘Kalyanikoru Premalekanam’ is a 23Mins short film that says the story of a teenager Umesh and his love Kalyani.
The direction and Making side of the short movie are really good. The Music and Lyrics are composed by Vimal Tk who is well known for his previous work in the film “Happy Wedding’ which has already been in this years hit chart. Cinematography by Mithun Mannathkandy was really awesome and it’s very professional as a feature film. when all these meets up, even though the screenplay has some drawbacks, Vaisakh had been successful in making this short movie beautiful.
Leo Frank and Anju Menon played the lead roles of Umesh and Kalyani respectively. Umesh was really good with his cute looks, body language; all those romantic scenes were okay with but the sentimental sequences were really not up to the mark. Kalyani was really cute and beautiful and her innocent looks will make everyone fall in love with her. OMG! she’s damn lovely. all other actors also did a neat job especially Jibin who played the character of Satheesh was really good.
Being Precise on the plot, this flick revolves around Umesh, a Teenage guy who is Sincerely trying to make Kalyani fall in love with him. even though she haven’t accepted he knows that she loves him. on a fine occasion, some incidence happens and unfortunately makes Kalyani really sad and start to hate Umesh. then the movie is all about how Umesh try to find what really happened and who is the one behind all these.
Bottom Line: Beyond all those normal romantic kinda stuff, this one has more to offer and surely this one will be worth to watch.
The Kalyanikoru Premalekanam uploaded on YouTube on 1 June 2016 has already crossed 40K views and getting some tremendous response.
