In olden days, many Tamil people were migrated to Malaysia as laborers and the family of Kabaleeshwaran was such a migrated one from Tamil Nadu. The film shows how Kabaleeshwaran had become the gangster named Kabali and how his life pans out after that. The films shows his old age and the evolution of Kabali from Kableeshwaran showing his younger age as well. His family life too comes under the path of the narration of the story.

Kabali narrates the story of a don Kabaleeshwaran, who just got free from long 25years of life sentence and  Continous on his revenge to those people who distroys his family and life

on to the Technical side, Pa. Renjith had sucesfully executed kabali with both mass as well as emotional sequences which will satisfies both fans as well as family audiance. but the movies goes in a slow pace and the movie lags a lot especially on the second half.

G.Murali needs a special Mention for his beautiful frames and Praveen KL’s editing is another big factor, he has nicely done the cuts. Santhosh Narayanan’s BGM were nice but the songs were not upto the mark.

On to the performance, RajiniKanth as Kabaaleeshwaran had done an outstanding performance along with his looks, style and energy.

Radhika apt also performed well as his wife. Dansika as killer were very much bold and apt for her character. Dineesh as Kabali’s bodyguard made the audiance laugh a lot with his funny acting.

Bottomline: A stylish mass action film with an predictable climax and lags a lot.

  • Direction and Screenplay.

  • Cinematography, editing were nice.

  • An old story which we had seen a lot of time before with a predictable climax.
  • Too much lag.
  • VIncent Chavo as Villian were not upto the mark.

Verdict: A Good Action Packed Crime film.
